A deliberate approach

We are not an immersion program.

Immersion programs promise fluency in weeks. We don't run those, and we don't believe in them for working adults. Directed Study caps at three hours per week, on purpose. Language is built by consistent, spaced practice with an instructor who knows you — not by cramming, and not by a marketplace stranger you rebook every Tuesday. We build slowly, and we build permanently.

Why the cap is a position, not a limitation. The spacing effect is one of the most durable findings in learning research: practice distributed over time produces far better long-term retention than the same hours crammed together. Ninety minutes a week for two years produces a better speaker than twenty hours a week for two months. We built the program around what actually works.

Your instructor establishes where you're starting, builds rapport, and writes a Plan of Action you keep — where you're going and how you'll get there.

Enroll and begin

Choose your pace, and your standing weekly sessions begin. We handle the scheduling, the curriculum, and the calendar from there.
